An Update on Current Order Lead Times
At In-House Sound, our mission has always been simple: To help you hear your best, whether you’re on stage, behind the scenes, or in the studio. Delivering that experience means partnering with the very best in the industry, and sometimes that also means navigating the realities of high demand for the gear you rely on.
Recently, our partners at Ultimate Ears shared an update regarding their current production timelines. Due to an unusually high volume of orders, the lead times for new professional custom in-ear monitors are currently a bit longer than usual. We want to make sure our clients are fully informed so you can plan ahead with confidence.
What to Expect Right Now
For new Pro model orders, the current estimated delivery window is 15–20 business days. However, depending on order volume, some orders may take up to 30 business days to complete.
A few additional details to keep in mind:
-
Switch orders may take longer than fixed faceplate orders due to the additional complexity involved.
-
Universal IEM models, including the UE150, UE250, and UE350, are not affected by these delays and continue to ship within normal timeframes.
-
Service and repair orders already in progress are currently estimated at approximately 30 business days from the time the service request is logged.
As always, these timelines are estimates and may change depending on production demand.
Planning Ahead
If you’re preparing for an upcoming tour, production schedule, or performance run, we strongly recommend placing your order as early as possible to ensure everything arrives when you need it. We will try to help guide you through the process and provide the most up-to-date expectations for your order.
For customers who require repair work completed faster than the current 30-business-day estimate, there may be independent repair options available. Visit our Services & Repairs page for some options you can work with.
Thank You for Your Patience
We know that timing matters, especially when your gear is part of your livelihood. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding while our manufacturing partners work through this unusually busy period.
Thank you for continuing to trust In-House Sound with the gear that powers your sound.
